LUMS National Outreach Programme (NOP)

NOP identifies academically exceptional students with strong Matriculation and FA/FSc results and supports them through a Summer Coaching Session, LUMS admission, and a fully funded undergraduate scholarship. Students from all regions of Pakistan can apply.

Academic requirement

At least 80% marks in Matriculation or equivalent grades in O-Levels.

Income requirement

Demonstrated financial need; assessed by a dedicated review committee and reassessed annually.

Domicile / region

Students from all regions of Pakistan are encouraged to apply; no regional, ethnic, or extracurricular quotas.

Enrolment

Apply to the NOP Summer Coaching Session during the first year of Intermediate or A-Levels.

• Shortlisted applicants attend the NOP Summer Coaching Session and complete its assessments.
• Admission is awarded on merit; NOP scholarship eligibility is determined through the financial need assessment.

• Undergraduate study

  A fully funded NOP scholarship for undergraduate studies at LUMS.

• Admission application and test fees

  LUMS covers the applicable admission application processing and test registration fees for qualifying NOP candidates.

   Apply to the Summer Coaching Session

   Submit the online SCS application during the first year of Intermediate or A-Levels. Supporting documents for the SCS are due 25 February 2027; the official page does not publish the full list.

2. 2

   Attend the Summer Coaching Session

   Shortlisted candidates spend two weeks at LUMS for academic preparation and assessments. LUMS covers session expenses except travel.

   Apply to LUMS

   Successful SCS candidates apply for undergraduate admission and complete the required admission test; LUMS covers qualifying candidates' application and test fees.

4. 4

   Complete the financial need assessment

   Candidates who secure admission on merit and meet the need criteria receive the fully funded NOP scholarship, reassessed each year.
