- What aggregate do I need for GIKI?
- GIKI uses their own entry test alongside FSc marks. No fixed cutoff is published, but the test is genuinely tough — it covers Physics, Math, and Chemistry at a high level. Strong FSc marks help but the test is what really decides your fate here.
- Does GIKI accept O-level and A-level students?
- Yes. Your IBCC equivalence is used for the aggregate calculation. Make sure your subject coverage is strong — Physics, Math, and Chemistry are all essential for GIKI programs.
- How many seats does GIKI offer?
- Around 400 to 500 students per year. GIKI is a fully residential campus so capacity is also limited by hostel space — which is part of what makes the experience unique but also what limits the intake.
- Does GIKI offer need-based scholarships?
- Yes. GIKI offers both need-based scholarships and merit-based fee waivers. For scholarship holders, accommodation support is sometimes included too — which matters a lot given the residential setup.
- What happens after the GIKI merit list?
- You confirm your seat by paying the admission fee within the deadline. Since it is a residential campus, you will also receive hostel allocation information around the same time.
- What is the GIKI fee structure?
- Around Rs. 200,000 to 300,000 per semester for tuition, plus separate hostel and food costs. It adds up, but the financial aid program helps eligible students manage it.
