IoBM requires a minimum 50% in HSSC or A-Levels as a baseline. Admission is holistic — aptitude test score, interview performance, and academic record are all considered. A 60%+ aggregate with a strong aptitude test result puts you in a comfortable position for most programs including BBA and BS CS.
Yes. IBCC equivalence is accepted. IoBM is a Karachi-based institution with a strong tradition of admitting A-Level students — a significant portion of its intake comes from private O and A Level backgrounds.
The IoBM Aptitude Test is strictly 60 minutes — one of the shortest university entry tests in Pakistan. It is 100 marks total: English Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension (30 marks), Mathematics and Logical Reasoning (30 marks), General Knowledge (20 marks), and a short Writing or Essay section (20 marks). There is no negative marking.
Yes. A high SAT-I score qualifies applicants for an automatic exemption from the IoBM Aptitude Test. Submit your SAT scorecard during the application process. Shortlisted candidates — whether through the aptitude test or SAT exemption — then proceed to an interview before final admission.
IoBM Fall 2026 Round II: applications close in mid-June 2026. Aptitude tests are tentatively scheduled for June 20 to 22, 2026. Shortlisted candidates are called for interviews in late June to early July. Final merit lists and admission offers follow in July 2026.
IoBM fees range from approximately Rs. 130,000 to 200,000 per semester depending on the program. BBA, BS CS, and BS Accounting and Finance are in this range. IoBM offers merit scholarships and financial assistance — contact the financial aid office for current schemes and deadlines.
IoBM flagship program is BBA with specializations in Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and HRM. It also offers BS Computer Science, BS Accounting and Finance with an ACCA exemption pathway, BS Psychology, BS Media Studies, and BS Economics. All programs are at the Korangi Creek, Karachi campus.
