Official NTU fee (Admission Guide 2026-27, Ch.6). First-semester fee Rs 131,020 for most Engineering/CS/Business programs (Tuition 32,350 + ... 87,670 + 11,000). BS Chemistry lower at Rs 88,990. Design programs Rs 137,020. Hostel Rs 25,000 + Rs 5,000 refundable; Transport Rs 12,000. Tuition rises ~2.5%/year. Self-Finance adds an installment (+Rs 50,000 eng/CS → Rs 181,020; +Rs 37,500 business → Rs 168,520; +Rs 43,750 design → Rs 180,770; processing fee Rs 1,500).

The university publishes its own entry-test pattern. The sections below are what it publishes; confirm the current pattern before you sit the test.
Note
Official NTU entry test (Admission Guide Ch.4): 100 MCQs, 120 minutes, NO negative marking. Pre-Medical split 22 Biology / 22 Chemistry / 22 Physics / 34 English (verify per paper). No separate test for Chemistry or Business School programs (admission on academic merit). School of Arts & Design requires a Drawing Test (pass/fail).

- Does NTU conduct its own entry test?
- Yes. SET & SOS students sit the NTU University Test (11 Jul 2026 for Fall 2026); the School of Arts & Design sits a Drawing Test (12 Jul 2026). The test is 100 MCQs over 120 minutes with no negative marking. Chemistry and Business School programs admit on academic merit (no separate test). Source: NTU Admission Guide 2026-27.
- What is NTU's self-finance option?
