What aggregate do I need for NUML?

NUML uses its own entry test combined with academic marks. Being a public-sector university focused on languages, business, and IT, the merit thresholds are moderate. A 55 to 60%+ FSc or FA aggregate is generally workable for most programs.

Does NUML accept O-level and A-level students?

Yes. IBCC equivalence is used. NUML has a strong languages and humanities focus which makes it accessible to students from diverse educational backgrounds.

How many seats does NUML offer?

NUML has campuses in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and other cities, with intake across languages, IT, business, and social sciences. The multi-campus setup means there are more spots available overall.

Does NUML offer need-based scholarships?

Yes. Being a public-sector university, NUML has access to HEC and government scholarship schemes. Fees are already quite affordable compared to private institutions.

What happens after the NUML merit list?

What is the NUML fee structure?

Can I apply to multiple NUML campuses?

Yes. If you are flexible on location, applying to multiple campuses gives you more options and increases your chances of securing a seat in your preferred program.

What is the NUML entry test format and when is it held?

NUML conducts its own paper-based undergraduate entry test over two days — July 15 and 16, 2026 for Fall 2026. It is 120 minutes with 100 MCQs: English Language (40 Qs), Mathematics and Quantitative Reasoning (30 Qs), and General Knowledge (30 Qs). Language program applicants face heavier English and vocabulary sections; Computing and Management applicants face more math and GK questions.

Does NUML accept SAT scores instead of their own entry test?

Yes. NUML accepts valid SAT scores as an alternative to their university entry test. Submit your SAT scorecard through the NUML Admission Panel before the registration deadline. This is one of the few public-sector universities that explicitly allows SAT as a test exemption route.

When is the NUML Fall 2026 admission deadline?

The NUML Fall 2026 undergraduate registration deadline is July 6, 2026. Entry tests are held July 15 and 16, 2026. Results and merit lists are typically announced within 2 to 3 weeks. Register via the NUML Admission Panel online and generate your roll number slip through the portal.
