What aggregate do I need for NUTECH?

NUTECH publishes an official merit weightage: SSC/O-Level 10% + HSSC/A-Level/DAE 20% + NUTECH Entry Test 70% (SAT Subject score accepted for international students). Program eligibility generally needs 60%+ in FSC Pre-Engineering or ICS. No fixed seat-specific cutoff is published - merit shifts each cycle with the applicant pool.

Does NUTECH accept O-Level and A-Level students?

Yes. IBCC equivalence is accepted. Subject coverage must include Mathematics and Physics for Engineering programs, and Mathematics for Computer Science. SAT International scores are also accepted as an alternative to NUET for Pakistani Nationals with foreign qualifications.

What is the NUTECH Entry Test (NUET) format?

NUET is NUTECH's own admission test: 200 MCQs in 3 hours, with stream-based sections per the official sample papers - Pre-Engineering: Mathematics, Physics, English; ICS: Mathematics, Computer Science, English; Pre-Medical & DAE: General Arithmetic, Physics, English. Four sittings a year (NUET-1 to NUET-4); later rounds run at regional centres as well.

Does NUTECH accept SAT scores instead of NUET?

Yes. SAT International scores are accepted as a direct alternative to NUET for Pakistani Nationals. Submit your SAT scorecard during the application process. NUTECH also holds 4 NUET rounds per year so you can retake the test to improve your score before the final admissions round.

When is the NUTECH Fall 2026 admission deadline?

The NUTECH Fall 2026 registration deadline is July 6, 2026. NUET-4 begins July 12, 2026 and is held across Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar. Merit lists are announced in late July to early August 2026. Track dates on the NUTECH admissions portal at nutech.edu.pk.

What is the NUTECH fee structure?

Per the official admissions page (current): Rs 160,000 per semester for all undergraduate programs, Rs 92,500 for BET Civil, and Rs 100,000 per semester for postgraduate programs. One-time charges: application Rs 5,000, admission Rs 35,000, refundable security Rs 20,000, misc Rs 7,500. Hostel is separate. Fees are subject to revision by the university.

What programs does NUTECH offer?

NUTECH offers BS Computer Science, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Civil Engineering, and BS Software Engineering. All programs are at the main campus in H-11, Islamabad. NUTECH is HEC and PEC recognized and has been growing steadily since its establishment.
