- What aggregate do I need for UET Lahore?
- UET combines your FSc marks with your ECAT score. Generally, 70%+ in FSc plus a solid ECAT score is the baseline for competitive programs. CS and Electrical Engineering tend to have the highest merit — other disciplines are somewhat more accessible.
- Does UET accept O-level and A-level students?
- Yes. Your IBCC equivalence is used. Subject requirements are strict for engineering — you need Physics, Math, and Chemistry. Make sure these are covered in your A-levels.
- How many seats does UET Lahore offer?
- Around 2,500 to 3,000 students annually across all disciplines and affiliated colleges. UET is one of the largest public engineering universities in Pakistan, so seats are relatively more available than at smaller institutions.
- Does UET offer need-based scholarships?
- Yes. Being a public university, fees are already quite low. On top of that, UET has merit-based and need-based scholarships that can bring costs close to zero for eligible students.
- What happens after the UET merit list?
- UET typically releases multiple merit lists. If you are on the first one, confirm quickly — your seat rolls to the next applicant if you delay. Report for document verification with originals and complete the fee payment in the given window.
- What is the UET Lahore fee structure?
- Being a public university, UET is very affordable — roughly Rs. 40,000 to 80,000 per semester. One of the best value engineering degrees in the country.
- Can I apply to multiple programs at UET?
